  8. 3pm: Lecture by Mustafa Ja'far:
    The traditional in the contemporary

    Mustafa Ja’far studied painting, calligraphy and design in Baghdad and continued his art studies in Rome. He worked as an art director and creative director for more than 15 years before establishing his own contemporary Arabic calligraphy studio in London over 20 years ago. He undertakes commissions and teaches contemporary Arabic calligraphy.
